Van Cleef & Arpels VCA's new 5-motif this year features 'Pietersite'
■ Pietersite: A gemstone with a cat's eye effect, available in dark blue, brown-yellow, and golden yellow. V* uses dark blue (a rarer and more precious color). It is sourced from Henan, China, and Namibia abroad.

Limited quantity this time for two reasons: 1. Dark blue pietersite is rare; 2. Shaping pietersite into a clover form is very difficult (the gemstone's high hardness makes it prone to breaking during polishing), increasing material consumption.

Natural pietersite has a cat's eye luster (varying under different angles and lighting). The cost of polishing a single clover is extremely high! Natural pietersite is truly stunning!! As for fake pietersite, it's uglier than marble. So ladies, grab it while you can!
